Monday Memo 4/22/19

Good morning!

I am thrilled to be back with your children.  Thank you so much for your messages of support and good wishes.  I am doing great!

Wayland Cleans Up

Thank you to everyone who came to Wayland Cleans Up last Saturday.  It was great to see so many second grade families, and we all had so much fun.

Yard Sale

Thank you for helping your child gather items and price things for the yard sale.  We had a great time and have started brainstorming a list of possible charities to donate the proceeds.

Field Trip

Thank you so much to our fabulous field trip chaperones.  I heard it was a great time.

Mystery Reader

Thank you to our Mystery Readers.  I really appreciate you coming in.  I'm sorry I missed Caryn Berkowitz and Abby Brogan.  I heard you were wonderful.

 Farewell, Ms. Topping

We will be sad to see Ms. Topping go.  As a sophomore at Framingham State, Ms. Topping did her Field Study I in our classroom, so we were lucky to spend every Friday morning with her.  We know she'll be an amazing teacher.

To my super second graders

Greetings Spectacular Students,

I miss you so much!  I am doing just fine, and my ACL is healing very nicely.  The surgery went perfectly.

Now I am resting on the couch with my dog Bear.  My leg is strapped into a continuous motion machine that constantly bends and straightens it.  I'm supposed to have it on for six hours a day.  I also have an ice machine attached to my leg to keep the swelling down.  None of it hurts at all.  Plus, I'm reading a ton of good books!
